The investment team can advise on investment transactions including purchases of Shopping Centres, large Variety Stores, prime High Street shops, Food Stores and convenience stores Retail Parks and investments with future development opportunities.

Professional

The team dealing with rent review and lease renewals is made up of Douglas Stevens, Nick Cook and Trevor Pyne. Both tenants and landlords are represented on High Street, Shopping Centre and Retail Park units on rent reviews and lease renewals throughout the UK.

Arbitration – Independent Expert and PACT

Doug Stevens has been an Arbitrator and Independent Expert on the RICS Panel for 25 years receiving both RICS and Private Appointments He has made over 200 Arbitration Awards and Independent Expert Determinations and PACT Awards & Determinations on a range of retail properties including: - West End shops and stores in Bond Street, Oxford Street, Regent Street, Kensington and the City - Shop units and large stores in High Streets across the UK - Shop units and large stores in provincial and Regional Shopping Centres including Bluewater, Trafford, Westfield, Meadowhall etc - Large food stores across the UK - Convenience stores across the UK - Units on Retail Parks. Recent decisions include PACT Expert Determinations on Sainsburys Local stores in Sloane Avenue and Borough High Street, WH Smith Reading, Ole & Steen Charing Cross Road, Waitrose in Notting Hill, with current cases in Old Bond Street, Earls Court Road, Morden and the City.

Douglas Stevens

48 years experience initially with two retail companies (Co-op and UDS). A partner of Leslie Furness until 1985 when he left to found Douglas Stevens & Company. Doug deals with retail lettings and acquisitions, investment sales and acquisitions and professional work. He also now acts for four independent cinema operators. Trevor has over 30 years experience in the profession. He deals primarily with rent reviews, lease renewals and lease restructuring within shopping centres and High Streets throughout the UK.
